The Process

Part One

We start with a meeting, which is a chance to get to know each other. This is no obligation - if you decide I’m not the right fit for you, you do not need to proceed further.

This meeting is done via video call, where you’ll let me know your rough plans for the ceremony and I can go through my process. after the call, I will send through my quote.

If you decide to go ahead, you’ll pay a 50% deposit to secure your date and fill in a short booking form.

Part Two

Around five months before your ceremony, I’ll get in touch and that’s when all the fun starts. We’ll meet (café, pub, your choice!) to start drawing up what your ceremony will look like, what rituals you might want to include, and this is an opportunity to really get to know you and your partner so we can see what special touches we can put on your day.

After this meeting, I’ll send out a questionnaire about your love and lives and stories, and another to go through logistics. It’s important I gather as much nitty gritty detail as possible as I want you to arrive on your big day positive that we’ve thought of everything, so the ceremony can flow naturally.

Part Three

Once I’ve gathered the details needed, I’ll get to work on writing your ceremony script. By this point, we should have connected, and I’ll know enough about you to create something really special, that truly reflects you and your partner.

I’ll include all your preferences and create a comprehensive script (including cues, music etc that you’ll need to bare in mind on the day). When I send you the script (3-4 weeks) before the ceremony, it can go through as many edits as you like before it’s signed off and ready for the day.

I can also help you with your vows. During this time, I am available for chats, emails - anything you may need to discuss the content.

Your final invoice is due 14 days before your ceremony date.

Part Four

The big day has arrived! I’ll get to your venue an hour early and check in with you all. I only book one ceremony per day, so I can be flexible with whatever situations may arrive.

After the ceremony, I’ll have around for about 15 minutes and then I’ll head off and let you enjoy the rest of your day!
